Story from KOAM-TV
If you are an avid deer hunter you know gun season kicked off this past weekend.
Cloud's Meats in Carthage, Missouri is already seeing a big turnout of trophy deer.
Normally, at this time of year, Cloud's Meats will process over 1,000 deer. That's a number Andy Cloud says will not be effected by the economy.
"I think that it's not going to make that much of a difference - the people who hunt tend to be the die-hards and you know that's what they do, they always do," Andy Cloud says. "It's not just going out and hunting for food. It's also a social activity for them and it's something that's a family activity."
The firearm deer season ends November 25.
